Jayme Lynn Evans was raised in Hillsborough, New Jersey, and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California, where she graduated magna cum laude. In addition, she completed a two-year acting conservatory studying Meisner and Shakespeare.
After graduating, Jayme Lynn booked a series regular role on a FOX pilot, and has been working in television and film ever since. She has appeared in guest starring, recurring, and regular roles on ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, FXX, TNT, NICKELODEON, THE CW, DIRECT TV, and LIFETIME as well as in numerous commercials. On the film side, Jayme Lynn starred in the completely improvised feature Speak Now, which won the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival (Available on iTunes). Recently, Jayme Lynn appeared on a Comic Con panel for the film Other Half.
Jayme Lynn’s adaptability on-screen and ability to go back and forth between heavy drama and comedy stems from her fascination with the human condition and fearless dedication to her craft. She loves coaching actors and has always had a great passion for teaching.
Along with being a dedicated actress, Jayme Lynn believes in the importance of giving back to her community. When she’s not filming, she tutors students in a myriad of subjects ranging from English Literature to Advanced Mathematics. She is also a head mentor for the Young Storytellers Foundation, where she helps fourth and fifth graders discover their creative voice through the art of storytelling.
